So lets talk snowmobiles- Are you thinking about coming to Red Mountain Pass with your snowmobile? We are not anti-snowmobile, in fact we own a couple of them. However we feel that Red Mountain Pass is not the place to use them. Some of Red Mountain Pass is legally still open to their use but we feel this should not be the case. There are actually many reasons for this that we won't go into here. Suffice it to say we highly discourage their use on the pass. We are asking that they are not used up there. They are not allowed on our properties. And there is a lot of other private property in the area that should be respected. This means that on the trailer is ok, but off the trailer is not on our property. As well it is not possible to snowmobile into the Mountain Belle because then you would be on our property. There are great areas close by to go with snowmobiles so this doesn't mean you can't come and stay with us. Try Silverton and Molas pass areas where the local snowmobilers go. In fact the local clubs have endorsed not using them on the Pass. We and other skiers very much appreciate your courtesy in this. Thank you.
